Here’s a new commissioned Drawing by Cindy. It’s doubly amazing because Cindy only had a very small reference photo to work from and so she used all her knowledge of drawing human anatomy to fill in the missing information and construct the portraits. Enjoy

New Painting, straight off the Easel
Just Cruising is a fun piece reflecting the river along Gympie Terrace in Noosaville, with the local pelicans taking the place of the people.

This man kindly posed for me while I took his photo (he was the driver of the Valley Rattler – it is an old Steam train and a popular tourist ride attractions.) We had a great time on this train with our two darling daughters.
There is a funny story surrounding this image. I was chatting away with this train driver at the same time as taking his photo but had no idea that I was holding up the entire train! Lol! Everyone had boarded and were waiting to leave on the return trip home. No one really knew why the train wasn’t leaving – and I had no idea the lady had been ringing her bell at me. I was along way away from the carriages, it was out in the middle of nowhere that we had all stopped off for lunch. What a laugh.
Stui (my darling husband) kindly let everyone in the train know that I was the reason for the hold up as he ribbed me by loudly yelling out the window “Hurry up you’re holding up the whole train darrrrling!” as he laughed his head off at me. I went bright red-faced as I ran back to slump in my seat and mumbled under my breath at how silly the train driver was for not telling me were meant to be leaving. What a day- the day I held the whole train up! Lol! The things we do for reference material hey (shaking my head in disbelief!)
